More Crinoline Productions and the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center are pleased to be offering free theater during Art Walk to keep residents and visitors coming downtown for the arts during the summer and also during this challenging economic time. We are introducing this fresh and exciting idea to the already-popular Art Walk and hope this will be the first of many such cooperative ventures! Art Walk takes place on the first Friday of every month and features downtown galleries, live music, restaurants, and more. All of the shows being produced will begin at 7 pm and will run between 20 and 30 minutes. Donations will be gratefully accepted and will go to cover the costs of the production and the restoration of the historic Sidney and Berne Davis Art Center. Miromar Outlets and Germain Arena start things one day early with their free annual celebration. children's activities and live music by rock band Geek Skwad start at 5:30 pm. At 6 pm and 7:30 pm, the Southern Extreme Water-Ski team performs on the lake between Miromar Outlets and Germain Arena. At dusk, the fireworks show takes place over the lake. Star Spangled Bonita Party in the Park   •   Time: 6:00 PM

As darkness falls, the Bonita Springs night sky will come alive with a laser light show. the eco-friendly display takes place at Riverside Park. No fireworks will be used. Musical bands include Deb and The Dynamics, Jay Frost and Three Below and Kahlua and Cream. Other events at the Fourth of July celebration include the popular pie-baking and hot-dog-eating contests, children's games and a waterslide. Refreshments will be available. Miss Florida-Less Garcia of Tampa-leads the Fort Myers Beach Civic Assocaition's second Fourth of July Parade. The parade starts at 10:00am at Beach Elementary School and proceed salong Estero Blvd. north ending at the beach pier. the best viewing area is anywhere along Estero Blvd to Lynn Hall Park. At 2 pm Miss Florida will be joined by Miss Southwest Florida, Miss Fort Myers, Miss Cape coral and Miss Naples at a meet-and-greet reception at the Pink Shell Resort Hotel on the island's north end next to Bowditch Point Park. Stay on the beach and have fun until the fireworkds display at dark at Lynn Hall Park. 239-462-8798.

Join us for a picnic style concert of patriotic, classical and contemporary favorites as our new conductor, T. Francis Wada, makes his debut appearance. Doors will open at 5:30 pm. Dress is casual! Picnic supper foods, along with beer, wine , soda and mixed drinks, will be available for purchase. Seating is cabaret-style at round tables of 10. The concert's finale will coincide with the beginning of the annual fireworks display over the river. Just walk outside, and you'll have a front-row seat under the stars.
