Get a Good Grip and Let's Hang On!   •   Time: 2:00 PM

Where:4:00 PM Cultural Center of Charlotte County • Port Charlotte
PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - Turning Leaf Productions and The Cultural Center Theater have partnered together to bring in an all new show entitled, Let's Hang On! The ten-person live show features singing, dancing, and a full band that performs a tribute to Frankie Valli and the music of Jersey Boys. The show will be performed live in the Cultural Center Theater on Saturday, March 12 at 2 & 7:30 pm. With the Tony Award-winning musical Jersey Boys (the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons) still a hot ticket on Broadway and in road shows, the choice of the Frankie Valli tribute group Let's Hang On seems a timely one for the Cultural Center and Turning Leaf Productions. Even so, the show coming to the Cultural Center Theater on March 12 features much more than Four Seasons' songs. This is a Broadway-style production with choreography by dancer Heather Krueger, who also sings with the 10-member group. Besides the Four Seasons' songs, Let's Hang On! brings back the sounds of that period, that generation. This dynamite show will include Frankie Valli favorites such as Sherry, Big Girls Don't Cry, Dec. '63 (Oh What A Night) and Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You. The show will be filled with great musical moments, and you are sure to be delighted by Orlando based singer, Rich Bresenham, as he recreates the falsetto that is Valli's hallmark. "But we do songs of that era by a lot of people," such as Nancy Sinatra's These Boots Were Made for Walking, Martha and the Vandellas' Dancing in the Street and Mary Wells' My Guy, drummer/show innovator Bob Schubert said. Most of the members of Let's Hang On! cast are longtime veterans of the Florida theme park and regional theater scene. They've been on the road almost constantly since they formed, playing from Palm Beach to Naples to Tampa. The Cultural Center of Charlotte County Theater is located at 2280 Aaron Street in the heart of Port Charlotte and it has been a staple of the community since 1968. Tickets are $19.00 for reserved seating and they can be purchased at the Box Office (941) 625-4175 ext. 221 or online at www.TLPshows.com.
