Even though Elvis Presley has been gone for over 30 years, Jim Jinelli will turn back the clock and, in the bat of an eye, Elvis will come alive. Jim will take the stage at The Cultural Center Theater on Sunday, April 3rd at 2:00 pm with an Elvis Presley show that you won't soon forget! The show will also include an opening act featuring Jack Micci with his tribute to Roy Orbison.
Jim Jinelli, a Chicago native, has been impersonating Elvis Presley for more than 20 years. He is a seasoned professional who has performed for a wide variety of audiences over the years, in venues including night clubs, casino showrooms, and large event centers. Jim has a powerful, commanding voice and a remarkable vocal range. His natural vibrato enables him to capture that unique Elvis sound, reaching the heart of Elvis' vocal style, capturing the passion of every song. Jim's portrayal of Elvis Presley covers the touring concert years of 1971-1977. Just as Elvis covered many more songs in his concerts than his own, so does Jim, offering the audience A Concert Experience as close to the original as possible, while capturing the charm and charisma of the King of Rock and Roll. | The Charlotte County Concert Band, under the direction of John A. Johnson, is a non-profit organization specializing in producing traditional community band material such as popular Sousa marches, overtures and/or band classics such as Prelude to Act III of Wagner's opera Lohengrin. They also perform selections from Broadway musicals, Big Band medleys, and feature soloists from the band, including instrumentalists and vocalists. The intent of the Charlotte County Concert Band is to entertain the audience with music that has been successfully presented over many years.
The band's first concert of the 2010-2011 Season is on April 17th at 2:00 pm. The performance will include a wide variety of tunes so there is sure to be something for every listener.
Tickets for the show are $7.00 (Cultural Center Members) or $8.00 (non-members) and can be purchased at the Cultural Center Box Office. | The Cultural Center of Charlotte County will be holding an Easter dinner on Sunday, April 24th in our Conference Center. Two serving times are offered, 12 pm and 2 pm. Advance ticket purchases are recommended, as seating space is limited.
The menu will feature Prime Rib carved to order, Baked Ham with Raisin Sauce and Succulent Roasted Turkey. Included are a salad, soup, assorted side dishes and desserts, coffee and iced tea. Advance tickets are $15 and $18 at the door for adults. Tickets for children 10 and under are $10 in advance and $13 at the door. All prices include sales tax.

Our drivers are volunteers. WE NEED YOU. You, our volunteer, will pick up scheduled passengers , take them to doctor's appointments, grocery stores and other destinations in Charlotte County. About the Trasnportation Program:
The Cultural Center of Charlotte County, in cooperation with the Charlotte County Transit now offers transportation to the community. Patrons can be picked up, in a private car, and delivered to places of necessity. No more missed doctor appointments, supermarket trips with large packages that don't meet other forms of transportation requirements, and a million other reasons to use the private car we offer. Make your reservations up to 2 months in advance or as late at 2 days in advance to be sure you have your requested pick up time.
