Mission Statement
The Mission of the Ronald McDonald House of Southwest Florida®
is to provide families of seriously ill children a place to
stay while their child is undergoing medical treatment...a
home away from home that will enable them to remain together
and function as a family in an environment of love, strength,
and support...an expression of the warmth and caring of this
community.

Tonight as I lay down to rest
I know I'm not alone
Inside a house with loving hearts
A Home Away From Home
A place to be a family
To share our hopes and fears
To softly pray or just to be
A place to shed our tears
The walls are built by caring hands
The food prepared with smiles
The rooms were made to feel like home
To Parent and to Child
No other house could be so strong
When built from brick and stone
This house is built with only love
A Home away from Home
A child should never have to be
Left sick and all alone
Without a family close by
To help that child grow strong
Together we can make it work
Together it can be
A Home away from Home for all
A place for those in need
